Who Does the Government Support?

The global push towards a decrease in fossil fuel reliance and an increase in alternative energy production is creating a stir between governments and big oil industries.  As the public becomes more aware and educated of the problems associated with petroleum extraction and use, as well as the long-term positive effects of alternative energy sources, such as wind or solar power, governments are also under greater scrutiny.
